The interactive timeline below presents many milestones of our history to tell the story of HR’s evolution over more than a century.
It’s a history of both the front-page news and the behind-the-scenes work that have shaped the modern employment relationship. Some names, places, and events you’ll recognize. Others will be new and surprising.
