Invitation to Reflect: A Century of Workplace Evolution

As we approach the 100th anniversary of our organization, founded in 1926 by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. with a mission “to advance the knowledge and practice of human relations in the workplace,” we invite you to join us in a meaningful conversation about workplace dynamics across generations.
From our origins in response to the Ludlow Massacre—a pivotal moment that highlighted the critical need for improved labor relations—to our current work promoting organizational effectiveness alongside human dignity, we have witnessed and helped shape a century of workplace transformation.
Today, as we prepare to celebrate this historic milestone, we are turning to thought leaders like you who have shaped and studied the ever-evolving relationship between organizations and people. Your insights are invaluable as we both honor our past and chart a course for our next century of impact.
Our Question for Reflection
